  Waited 45 minutes for a chicken plate. It only takes chicken 20-25 minutes to cook. Customer service is very poor, and the nerve to get an attitude when I asked for my money back, because I didn't want to wait any longer. The owner was in the kitchen talking junk, and thought I didn't here her. When I step back around the corner to Co front she became very quiet. That's not the way you treat customers by keeping them waiting and treating badly and talking about them in ear shot. I do not recommend this restaurant. #stayinyourhomekitchen

  We got the "family chicken and pulled pork dinner" to go. Wait and price wasn't bad but I wouldn't pay a dime for any of their food again. I couldve made a better meal and more at home. The combo came with 3 small pieces of chicken that were kinda greasy like they had drained them on paper plates, and 1 decent chicken breast. And a pint of pulled pork. The pork had way too much vinegar (yes I know nc is vinegar style but it was over powering) not much flavor going on other than vinegar, and pretty tough. I had one small bite and left it. So moving on we got a mashed potato anf gravy pint and oddly the gravy was already on top of potatoes. Not a huge deal but id rather put my own gravy on. Next came our other side of baked beans. Straight out of the generic can with nothing else. Kinda gross. So I asked for a large side of green beans and was told they couldn't do that. Why not? Because. Um ok. So for a family meal I got a little tiny and I mean tiny bit of green beans which was sad because that was the best part. Hush puppies were ok definitely store bought and dry but not bad. Customer service was awful. Border line just rude. Super unprofessional and unprepared for a friday night dinner 'rush'. Guess I will go make some sandwiches. Wont order from here again for sure.
